You can put them in your freezer when they arrive and keep them for up to a year until you are ready to use them. To prepare just put the frozen crab in cool water for 15-20 min. They are precooked so if you are planing to eat them cold they are ready now. At the lodge we serve them hot by putting them in a pot of salted boiling water for about 4 min. Great fast food that's good for you. They come apart easily when frozen so you only need to cook as much as you will use right then so no waste.
